grateful for you today 💜

I stared at my computer screen, feeling goosebumps along my skin, and a tickle of tears at the back of my eyes.

My client was sharing a huge win from the prior week. Not just huge, but H-U-G-E.

Think of the culmination of a year's worth of work condensed into a single moment.

You know these moments, Reader. They are precious and rare. These are the moments you’re looking into an infinity mirror—seeing all the micro-steps culminating in a profound healing experience for your client.

It’s only after the sessions are over, that I think of everything I wanted to say:

“I see the hard work that you’re doing inside and out of sessions.”

“I know what you did goes against every ounce of generational conditioning – and I am so proud.”

“You are creating a ripple of well-being, healing, and growth for yourself and everyone around you.”

After the virtual session ends, I sit at my desk, hand on my heart, and just feel.

I’m sitting with these emotions in the present but also flashing back to the past.

I'm back in January 2020, hunched over my desk in my "temporary" one-bedroom apartment. I had just signed the house over to my ex and painfully divided up four pets.

A silver lining: I got to keep Hazel, our puppy, and had just secured my dream office, a spacious ground-floor corner space with cozy couches and sunlight coming through a wall of windows.

Even Hazel loved it. 💜

But we know how this story goes. My office would stay empty for months. My apartment would not be temporary, but my home for several more years.

So when my clients have any type of win, I soak it up.

But I also go back to 2020-Arianna, doing session after session in a cramped studio, and I soak up the brightness for her, too.

I could turn this story into a lesson about copywriting—that’s why you’re here, right?

But I think it’s a greater lesson about the indescribable nature of your work as a therapist, healer, or holistic practitioner.

It's about why it's sometimes so hard for you to write.

It's about all that you witness and cannot share, what you don't witness but still hold, and all the ways your work can never be fully seen.

The next time you feel gratitude, inspiration, or reverence after a session, write about it. Just start writing. See what words come forth.

Maybe it will turn into a blog, a homepage, or a future workshop. Maybe it won't.

If nothing else, it may be a place for your experience to be witnessed, in silence.
